This is a good starter needlepoint kit. I bought it for my six-year-old son, and he has enjoyed it for the most part. However, annotation that you will need to take a permanent marker (e.g. Sharpie) and go over the pattern, on the in trade, because the printed colors grind off including just a small amount of handling (i.e. much less handling than a typical kid will do to sew :) ). Also, I found that the enclosed needle had an eye that was uncomfortably small. It was a metal needle, not the plastic one pictured that I remember from my own youth doing such kits. We have a plastic needle and that worked better.That said, it has a few colors but not too much complexity. It's beyond doubt value the price for some constructive activity. After a few false starts, my son was able to do it for stretches on his own.

My daughter, 9, was able to do this kit completely by herself and loved it. She did make a few mistakes and ran out of one of the colors but it was a fun, easy project that helped increase her skill with a needle.

I prearranged these Needlecraft kits for my kids. It's a little confusing as we have never through needlecraft before. I planning it would be a little easier however, the cut came as described, it was on calculate and splendid fee. Thankfulness

This needlecraft kit was a big hit at Christmas for my Granddaughter. The kit equipment were of good feature. She looked-for a bit of adult assistance but commonly it was apt for a six-year old outcome.

The machinate is austere in top yet the directions cold use a few more fine points compelling into account the age that will be attempting this machinate. With help my 7, 8, and 9 year old daughters have enjoyed carrying out the needlecraft projects.
